James and Francesco met while attending Liceo Ferraris in Varese. In the early ‘90s, they formed a band with other classmates and friends – the Jimmy Island Band -releasing three mini-albums and playing over 150 concerts across the provinces of Varese, Como, Novara, Milan, and Canton Ticino.
In the 2000s, the band disbanded, but James and Francesco continued writing music.

In 2020, during the lockdown, they decided to gather those songs and write new ones. After four years, they released their work titled Stone Flowers, inspired by the name of a song, which in turn was influenced by the poetry of Umberto Saba.

They are joined by two other great musicians from the Jimmy Island Band: Alessandro on cajón and alto sax, and Davide on electric bass.
